When the best architect's building collapses...

Sun setting, a fainting smile,
Sucking poisoned nectar, he cries her name.

Lights out, a dove shot dead, red,
Dark red hickey makes him a vampire tonight.

Wild cat in a LBD, sucked on to his life,
Foot fetishes, stabbed him with those heels.

A war in his head, scars on his face,
Eyes, nose, ears and mouth bled.

Scissors through his body, frozen memories in his veins,
Cuts his arm, your name on it, his body has gone septic.

The worst lie detector and the best architect, heart,
The complicated designs were made to look easy.

Drove him fast, burnt him with her body heat,
Camels left, hot desert turned cold overnight.

Rake, he is in a vegetative state,
Chunks of chemicals in his brain.

He sees a tree skiing down the mountain, which hits a snowball in his eyes,
Colors of your memories splash, painting him yellow.

You promised him sunshine after it rains,
“Pink pigs will snuggle in the mud,” you said.

A weary walk, a misunderstanding, a brawl,
A push, his fall, can’t walk, now he crawls.

Your reflection in the well, pictures on the wall,
A few check marks, on the to-do-list standing tall.

Lump in his throat, he strangles it inside,
He fears those eyes, they laugh when he is in tears.
